  83. easy selection of parameters along with information about previous backups.

  128. can only process one directory at a time. It does, however, back up all files
  129. in a directory, filling as many backup disks as necessary. It also features
  130. the ability to compress files.

  141. is a hard-disk back-up program designed specifically for backing up one hard
  142. disk onto another hard disk (or similar device, such as a Bernoulli drive).
  143. The idea is that you could have two hard disks and use one to backup the
  144. other. The advantages are that this is much faster (as little as 30 seconds),
  145. more reliable and probably cheaper than a tape backup and if your primary
  146. drive crashes, you can run from the other hard disk. The disadvantages are
  147. that you cannot have off-site backup or "grandfather" backups.

  149. HardBack works with "logical" drives, so you can back up from one partition to
  150. another on the same physical drive. Any number of subdirectories on either the
  151. source or the back-up drive, or both, can be explicitly marked by the user to
  152. be ignored by HardBack.

  162. file before copying; traverse all subdirectories; copy only files that are

  202. designed to safeguard your data.  AutoSave is a resident utility that
  203. automatically saves the data to disk at regular intervals in whatever program
  204. you are using.  For example, if you are using 1-2-3, it will automatically
  205. save your worksheet; if you are using a word processor, it will save your text
  206. file.  This protects you from losing hours of work to a power outage or
  207. computer lockup.
